Rastoke means 'the place in which water flows from different directions'. Rastoke is a tiny, ancient town built at the confluence of Slunjcica and Korana Rivers. The shape of the landscape has created waterfalls and cascades that the original inhabitants used to power bucolic watermills, some of which still run today. A lovely peaceful place (aside from the roar of waterfalls) we popped in for a visit and stayed two nights!
